In the early 90's Peter and Roz asked me to design their new home. They were starting a life together and Roz's artistic side and Perter's engineering background created a dynamic collaboration between us all. David Lumley tendered for and won the contract and introduced me to Glen, an artisan friend of his with a passion for reclaimed metals and sculpture. He interpreted my organic design sketches into a tremendous realisation of dark but light steel and copper forms, which set the highlights to this beautiful and ephemeral set of freeform spaces.

Peter and Roz remain my dear friends and although we only rarely catchup these days, we are always thrilled to do so. Rob and Peter still live in this lovely space, which does not seem to age. Roz's studio is an integral part of the home.
